Divine Energy Solar started in 2020. Founder Alec Wright built it from nothing, right here in Dallas, Texas. He dropped out of college and came home ready to work hard. He took a sales job at a solar company and saw how badly customers got treated, over and over again. He knew he could do better, even if it wouldn’t be easy. So Alec walked away and built his own company, no shortcuts. He vowed to serve every customer with honesty and real care.
While working in sales, Alec saw something that changed his life for good: customer after customer who felt confused, pushed around, and let down by their solar company, again and again. Alec was bothered by this, especially knowing solar could truly help families take back control of their power and save real money every single month. This truth lit a fire in him to build something better, right here in Texas, leading to the birth of Divine Energy Solar. Our company has made a promise to serve every customer with real honesty, and to always do solar the right way, inspired by the vision Alec gained out in the field!
Driven by a vision of a cleaner, more honest future, Alec committed himself fully to changing the way solar was done here in Texas. He could see a day where every home from the lights and TV to the whole HVAC system and every single device inside ran safe and clean on solar power. While working in solar sales, Alec watched his own customers get treated poorly, again and again, by the company he worked for. He saw slow callbacks, cold service, and a real lack of honest answers when people had simple, everyday questions to ask him each week. This experience showed him the industry truly needed a customer first approach, one built on care and trust.
Motivated to fill this gap, Mohammed engaged with the North Texas Renewable Energy Group and Plano Solar Advocates. These are two nonprofits committed to promoting renewable energy education and advocacy. He dedicated two years to volunteering with these organizations. He was eager to absorb knowledge and experience to realize his renewable energy project development dreams.
A decade later, Good Faith Energy stands as a nationally recognized leader in distributed solar and storage, as well as roofing. We are more than just an electrical and roofing contractor; we are a movement, a lifestyle, and a community-focused family.
